The Sugar Bowl Challenge 27 - Kathy's Sketch

I just love this sketch so I decided to give it a go and try to make a nice entry to the The Sugar Bowl Challenge 27.  It turned out quite well.
I received this Gorjuss Foxy Girl about a week ago, and I haven't tried it yet. Have a look at the result.

I have coloured the image with my Promarkers. These are the colours:

I stickled the little flower on her coat and also finished the fox (inside) with Glossy Accent.
The papers I used are from Basic Grey Mellow Collection, these would be my favourite colours. I used Distress Ink for distressing: Antique Linen and Shabby Shutters.
The little flower I made myself thanking again to Michelle who made a great the tutorials. I used the fab Woodware Grass punch to make a leaf behind the flower.
The sentiment was a free gift to a magazine (I don't remember which)
Pearls, gems, lace are from my stash.

I hope you like it,

Thanks for stopping by.

Calendar 2010

Today I'm gonna show you a belated 2010 Calendar. One of my colleague saw my calendar which was made at Kildare Kraftz Klub, Naas and wanted one for herselft right away. So I promised her that I would make one. Here it is.

How it was made:
Base: 4"x4" chipboard
Image: Sitting Gorjuss Girl (coloured with Promarkers)
Calendar: downloadable from: www.vertex42.com Fastened with brads from my stash.
I used watercolour paper, distress the edges with Distress Ink Tattered Rose; the flourishes are stamped with Distress Ink Antique Linen and went over with some Distress Stickles
Ribbon: white satin ribbon from my stash, coloured with Antique Pink Promarker.

I only need to stick some magnet onto the back and then ready to go. Hopefully she will like her new 'fridge magnet 2010 Calendar'.

I hope you liked it.

My first Chocolate box - Passion for Promarkers Challenge - Week 35

This is a chocolate box which was made for one of my best friend's 25th birthday. I got the idea and the template from Kirsten's Blog and also got inspired by Jane whose craft I admire. I just loved the MME paper, when I saw them I knew that would be the perfect pattern for the chocolate box.
I have just finished it this weekend, and I am happy that over at Passion for Promarkers Challenge blog the theme is ‘girls, girls, girls’.  So this one will be my entry.

Here is a closer image so you can see the card on the top better.

If you untie the bow, you can open the card, that is the inside of it :)

I forgot to take photo from the inside :(

I stamped Sitting Gorjuss Girl with Memento Ink, coloured with my Promarkers. Paper: MME Bloom and Grow. Flowers: Prima Flowers and some other paper roses. Tools: Spellbinders Labels 3, X-cut Butterfly punch, Woodware Grass punch. Ribbons from my stash.

I hope you liked it,

First day of my blog

Today is the birthday of my blog. From now and on I will post the crafty things I make: cards, scrapbook pages and maybe some funny cakes.

The first card I'll show was made in November 2009 for my grandmother whose name is Katalin, that is why Tilda is sitting on a letter K.

I coloured Tilda with my Promarkers, used some lovely Basic Grey paper. The flower is from Prima Flowers.
