I used a picture for this layout that we took after my birthday party :)

All papers are from Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey.

Sketch Challenge - Scrap Friends

Hi everyone,

I came across this fantastic challenge blog called Scrap Friends and their Sketch #5. I just loved this sketch and had to give it a try immediately :D

I didn't have a picture printed in that big size, so I used three photos. They were taken in Chatsworth House and Gardens.

This is my take on the sketch:

It was great to play with this sketch. I used a few embellishments from Scrapfellow.com: the flatback button and the journalling card are from this fantastic shop. I also used Echo Park Papers This and That Charming collection. All the buttons are from Yabo.

I used: tracing paper, washi tape, stencil, acrylic paint and some patterned paper from Cosmo Criket.

Great Big Craft Extravaganza

Hi everyone,

The Great Big Craft Extravaganza, Ireland's biggest paper crafting event will take place on 5-7th October, in Athlone, Co Westmeath.

It is a three day event full of classes and shops to do some retail therapy.

...and I will teach a class too :)

This will be a scrapbook layout class and I will show you a few tricks on how to create a free style scrapbook page. Here is the page we are going to re-create.

The class has a great kit that includes everything you will need to create this page. We are going to use Derwent Inktense Blocks and they are included in the kit.

It'll be a fun class :)

Try to bring a 4x6 B&W photo, that will work best with the colour scheme.

Family Album

Hi All,

I am back after a summer break :).

I created a Shabby Chic album for Yabo. For this album I used the flower chipboard album and Prima Birdsong papers.

It was fun to create this album, I hope you liked it too.
