Scraplift at Scrapbook Magazine #46

Hi,I hope you all have a great weekend. I am back to show the layout which I have made last weekend and never got to post it. Bad blogger!!
Here is  the page from the SBM where I found the scraplift challenge. (the quality of the picture is not the greatest, sorry)

I just loved this layout, so busy and colourfull, I had to give it a go. I used only one picture which was taken at Odessa International Airport ( not by me, I'm not that brave LOL). I remember the suprise when I landed at the airport and this "airport shuttle" came to collect us.
Here is my layout:

Unfortunately the picture is not the best, I'm still learning how to photograph LOs. In style it is completely different  from the previous ones, but I like it even though the photo isn't bright enough.
I have used Cosmo Cricket and Basic Grey papers, lot of acrylic paint, jet black stazon. I have bought the little wheels in 2euro shop, I thought it was a funny idea to use to decorate the page.
Here are some closer views:

Ezt az scrapbook oldalt a Scrapbook Magazine kihívására készítettem. A legjobb beküldők oldalait közzéteszik a következő számban, úgyhogy szorítsatok LOL.

I hope you liked it, thanks for stopping by,

Colour Create DT Call - my first Hanglar

Over at Colour Create there is a DT call. I decided to give it a go. They'd like to see khaki, cream, chocolate, and aqua on our creations and the optional extra is: circles.
So this is what I came up with. This is my first Hanglar image I got it from Laura in Naas. I definitely have to get some for myselft. So this is it:

The background paper is from K&Co Life's journey collection, and I used some solid cardstock (brown and khaki). Distressed the edges with distressing tool and the inked them a bit. Also added some faux stiches (I wish I had a sewing machine). I coloured the image with my promarkers.  I have paperpieced the little hearts and glued onto real thread. My flower are from Wild orchid Crafts, orginally they were white, but I painted them with mix of distress inks and after added some stickles. I have added a good few flat back pearls ( from Bunny Zoe). And my favourite: a little aqua plastic heart :D , it was a button actually which I got from my mothers friend along with another bag of very old buttons ( very kind of her, isn't).
So this is my entry for the challenge and for the DT call as well.

Ezt a lapot a Colour Create kihívás blog designer felhívására készítettem. Olyan sok pozitív visszajelzést kapok, hogy gondoltam, hogy megpróbálom, hátha kiválasztanak designer-nek. Majd meglátjuk. A kislányt Promarker filcekkel színeztem, a kicsi szíveket kivágtam egy másik nyomatból és rendes, hímzőfonalra ragasztottam a térbeli hatás érdekésben. A virágokat magam festettem, eredetileg fehérek voltak.

I hope you like it, enjoy the rest of the weekend in this beautiful sunshine.

Mini album competition

Today I'm gonna show you the mini album I made for the Craft Barn Mini Album competition. I have to admit that I could hardly make it, cause today is the last day and it's 11 o'clock at the moment.
So onto the album. There were 9 sketches given, which we had to follow. I don't want to show the sketches, the post will be long anyway.
I will give this album to my mother, I collected her pictures from her childhood.
The base is a Maya Road tab album, and I ended up breaking/ cuting it into pieces, because while I was builing it up the pages took  strange shape, so decided to bind the in another way.
On the cover there is this lace flower which I made myself following Marion Smith's live show.

The first page: the little paper rose was made by me.

Second page:

Crafty Alley May Kit - Exploding box - From Italy with love

Hi Everyone, I hope you're keeping well. I know I haven't posted for the last week. I was in the middle of few bigger projects, but they seem to be ready soon, so I will show them here.

Today I'm gonna show you the exploding box I made with the Crafty Alley May Kit. Absolutely vintage!! I love all the colours, postcards, stamps, key, pins, lace and all the little bit and pieces.

I used the MM Vintage Findings paper collection to make the base of the box. the red letter are from my stash. I stuck the lace trim on the edge of the lid ( hot glue gun) and finished it with a pearl string ( was not in the kit)

The flower is from Prima, originaly was white, but i colured it with distress inks ( broken china, stormy sky, victorian velvet)

...the opened box:

I used many things to have each page different. In the middle there are some extra pages to stick photos on them. The are some pockets and tags, photo corners and journaling lines on almost every tab.
If you want to have a look pop over to the web album where I uploaded more photoes. Can't wait to develeop a few picture and complete this little photo-box.
I am sending over a few picture to Cathy, hoping that I can be a guest designer at Crafty Alley Design Team Blog.

Ezt a dobozt a Crafty Alley shop májusi csomagjából készítettem. Cathy olyan klassz cuccokat válogat össze :). További képeket megnézhetitek a picasa albumban, itt. Azokat az olaszországi képeimet fogom bele ragasztani, amiket akkor készítettem, amikor 2008 áprilisában Milánóba mentünk. Elküldök egy pár képet Cathynek abban a reményben, hogy lehetek guest designer a Crafty Alley blog-on. Remélem tetszik a doboz, kösz, hogy benéztetek.

I hope you liked it, please fell free to leave a comment. Thanks for stopping by,

Scraplift at Scrapbook Magazine

Hi Everyone, today I'm gonna show you a layout for the challenge in Scrapbook Magazine which was scraplifting.
I used a photo which I took in Odessa, Ukraine in 2004. This is a monument of a novel about twelve chairs by the Soviet authors Ilf and Petrov.
I used DCVW Mariposa Stack, distress inks, gold acrylic paint and some chipboard shapes.

Actually it was quite difficult to take a photo of it, because all gold foil on the papers. Here is another one:

I just simply love this paper stack, so beautiful, all the butterflies and birds, foil and glitter everywhere. Absolutely fantastic.
The half of the journalling is in Russian and the other half is in Hungarian.
Here are some close-ups:

I have dry brushed the edges of the picture with gold acrylic paint, sponged all the chipboard edges with the same paint.

As finishing touches I added some stickles around the above journalling and to some flowers on the background paper.

The journalling paper is just an old notepad from recycled paper and I cut a scalloped circle with one of my nesties.

Sorry for the terribly long post. I hope you liked my layout, thanks for watching.

Friday sketchers #100

Hi Everyone! I'm back with a card for a great friend of mine who is getting married on Saturday. I used a Tilda image which was in my kit at Mina's class in Dublin. I coloured her with distress inks. I followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers, I'm entering the card there.

I used the same BG paper as I did so with my last card. The little paper roses were created by myself. I forgot where I see this idea, but sure you can find it in the google. The sentiment I printed from my computer and the pearls are from Prima.
I hope my friend is busy enough in the last few days before her wedding, so won't have a look here LOL.

I hope you liked it, thanks for stopping by,

The Sugar Bowl Challenge #34 - Tiet's Sketch

I love Tiet's sketches, they are absolutely fab and all those layers of paper...
Som etime ago I won a full bag of things at the Sugar Bowl Challenge, and now I used one of the Leanne Ellis stamps which was in the bag. The papers are BG Lilly Kate collection which was also in the Goody bag :D

I coloured her with distress inks, and distress all the edges of papers with the same colours of inks. The rose is from Wild Orchid Crafts, and I had to alter the colour a bit. I used scattered straw and spiced marmalade to make the rose more colourful. I punched some leaves with my woodware leaf punch and place under the rose. The sentiment is made by me, you can see my not really pretty handwritting.
This is another Mother's day card, and I made this for my mother. I have posted it on Monday, and she received it yesterday. Somethis must have happened with the postal service in Hungary, usually it takes a week or so.
I am entering this card to The Sugar Bowl Challenge.
Anyway that is all for today.

I hope you liked it, thanks for watching and please leave a comment if you feel like.
