Challenge time!!! 2 Cute Ink

Hello all,
Today is a very exciting day. First cos I 'm going on holidays, second there is a challenge over on 2 Cute Ink blog. Head over and check how to get free digital stamps.

Check out what I created with this Owl Doodle stamps. I had this black notebook that I wanted to spice up a little bit.
So I coloured the owl and cut it out. I didn't use all parts of the image.

I used Studio Calico papers, layered them and adhered onto the notebook. Washi tapes and a few stickers were enough embellishments. I wanted to keep it flat, so it won't come apart when I carry it in my handbag.

I added a sentiment sticker and some alpha stickers to say: Put on a smile, Wise Owl!!

Aquarium Card - 2 Cute Ink

Hi everyone, today I am going to show you a quick and fun tutorial on how I created this "aquarium card".

A few things you will need:
Angel Fish Digital Stamp
blue cardstock
piece of acetate

Cut a piece of card stock 4x12 inch. Score it at 4, 4 1/8 and 3 7/8. Cut a window out of the card stock as show in the picture.

Print the Angel Fish twice and only colour one in.

Fussy cut the colored fish out and the other one needs to be cut to match the size of the card.

Place foam adhesive on the coloured fish and adhere it on the other printed fish.

Colour the piece of acetate with alcohol inks

Assemble the card: glue the acetate on the back of the window; glue the panel with the fish on the side that is behind the window.

You can add white card stock inside for you message.

I hope you liked this idea,
Timi

10 Minute Craft Dash

I was reading a friend's blog where I saw this 10 minute Craft Dash. Since I am soo happy that I have finished my last assignment for college, I am full of crafty ideas. So I though I give this 10  minute challenge a go.
You can find the challenge here at Pretty Pink Posh. The theme is birthday to celebrate that the 10 minute Craft Dash challenge is a year old.
Here I go, one card less then ten minute!
If you know me, you would know that I am not a fast crafter. I like to add more and more details and then everything just takes ages.
So this is the card I created in less than 10 minutes, here's the proof:

and my card:

not bad, considering that I had only 10 minutes for creating. I used a few techniques: stamping, stenciling, masking... The stamp is from Waltzing Mouse.

So Happy Birthday to 10 Minute Craft Dash, I'm sure I will take part in this challenge again!!

Birthday card - Tiddly inks

I have this card for a friends birthday. I tried to make it very simple for two reasons: 1. this is her style, 2. too dimensional card won't fit into the envelop.
I coloured this image in and just layered onto patterned and glossy paper.

The sentiment is another Tiddly Inks digi stamp, I merged the two in Photoshop.

back to colouring images...

Recently I got some stamps, older ones, but I really enjoyed colouring them in with Promarkers.
I really like this image from Wild Rose Studio, it is from 2010 and discontinued. After colouring it in I just threw some papers and embellishments together and made a card with it.

I think I am going to do more colouring it is so relaxing :) it doesn't mean I 'm going to give up my scrapbook pages though...

it has been sooo long

Yes, it has been very long since I blogged the last time. But now I feel like doing it again, so for today I'm going to show you what I have been up to for the last few weeks.

I have made a few projects for crafting Ireland magazine:
First one is a film strip mini album that you can check out here on page 60.
It is an album for my friend who just got married a few months ago :)

And the other article I have is about card that you can create with an electronic die cutting machine. Check it out on page 48 in the magazine.

The last one is a suitcase mini album. You can find the tutorial on Crafting Ireland blog.

So this is all for today, I will be back soon and show you some few crafty projects...
