Calendar book: before and after

Hi dear visitors, today I'd like to show you an altered calendar book. I found an A5 size one in Eason for 2.99 and thought it would be a great idea to "restyle" it a bit.

That's how it looked before:

I covered the book with Basic Grey Ambrosia papers using Claudine Hellmuth Muliti Medium in matte. Them to tone down the colours a bit I brushed it over with some CH gesso with a wet brush and with a papertowel I clean up the excess. Decorated with a chip piece from the same collection, doily and black lace. The silk flower is from Papermania and coloured it with Promarkers. I used the multi-medium to stick everything down for stronegr result.
This was a quick project for today :D
Later I'll try to upload a photo from the back, but at the moment Blogger doesn't let me.

I hope you like it,

Steampunnk ATC Swap

Hi everyone, I am a very bad blogger recently, I had nothing to show you till now. I am working on several mini-album projects, but none of them were ready to show.
Lately I have taken part in many swaps, one of them was a Steampunk ATC. Since the deadline was yesterday, I decided to publish it today. The Swap was organised on Splitcoaststampers.

I sent 10 nicely wrapped ATC-s. Here they are:

Stamps are from PaperArtsy and the man with the unbrella is a digital image. I used lots of distress inks and some TH die-cuts and masks.

I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by,

Happy 2011!!!

Hi everyone, seems like Christmas was far too busy to do any blogging. BUT I am back with a mini to show and with goods news.
Start with the good news. I was reading the Scrapbook magazine #51 and SUPRISE my LO from back in May was in it. This one is the one:

I didn't think that they liked it, cos it was sooo long ago. Anyway I am happy and it is a good closing of the year.

Onto the mini:
I took part in TWS swap over at Life is a {Scrap}beach, the theme was: winter. Here is a little video to show you how it turned out.
