Totally Tim Holtz -Crafty Alley June Kit - Expandable Photo box

I am back again with my second post today Yeeah!!
I just quickly show you what I created using the Crafty Alley June Kit. The Kit is absolutely amazing, I love all the metal parts in it.
The expandable photo box was inspired by Marion Smith at apieceofcraft.com.

So here it is:

I have used the greyish TH paper and misted with some tattered angels to give it a little shine. The base of the box is chipboard which I bought from the Crafty Alley Shop. The box opens if you push the swivel clasp throught the keyhole :D.
Inside there are folders for tags or even for little accordian minis.

I made these folders from brown envelopes. Closed them, cut them into halfs, stuck  them onto each other giving a little space from the edge and finally I cut a 1/8 inch off from the bottom. I glued them onto the front and back and that how it looks when open:

Into the folders I put some tags which I cut from the same paper. Here they are. I don't know why the pic is so yellow, sorry about this.

I kept the tags quite simple, maybe I decorate them more when I complete with pictures and journalling.

The top of the box is decorated with some hand-made flowers, I used my precious TH Tattered Florals die and also added the chip piece from the Kit which I coloured using the Faux Hammered Metal technique by Julia Andrus.

Flowers: I glued some old book pages onto wihite cardstock. Coloured them withdistress inks and brushed over with some Mod Podge mixed with some Perfect Pearls. When all the glue dried I ran through the die-cutting machine and formed the petals with a brush-handle.

I hope you liked it, please feel free to comment.

Thanks for stopping by,
