Hi Everybody,
Now I am posting from Hungary, gone for a little Easter holiday.
Today I show a birdhouse which was made last week. I thought it was a lovely little thing to fill with chocolate egg and bring home to my family. Got inspired by Marion Smith at A Piece Of Craft and entering it to Basic Grey Challenges: Tutti Frutti.
I used Nook And Pantry paper from BG to print the template on. I forgot where the template was from but if you google "birdhouse template" you'll find some good ones. I sat the whole house on green chipboard and cover the joints with pearls. Cut a scalloped circle for the tag whishing Happy Easter ( my handwritting) and fastened it onto the roof with a mini peg. On the other side of the roof there is a punched butterfly ( X-cut punch) and you can open-close with the twine.
The entranec is covered with some acetate and I placed a rose and some punched leaves to decorate. The rose is from Wild Orchid Craft.
I hope you like it, please leave a comment if you wish I appreciate them all and also I'd love to visit you all.
Thanks for stopping by,
Timi K

ReplyDeleteI like to see this house every day. Just unfortunately it's already empty. But the chocolate was gorgeous. :)
